Regular contact is maintained with in-bound transporters and clearing agents to ensure we are kept informed of the location of vehicles conveying product and to enable us to estimate arrival times at our Warehouses.
On arrival each consignment is checked against documents and visibly checked for damage. Bagged product is weighed prior to placement at an assigned location in a warehouse.
Relevant parties are advised of the receipt of product and of any shortages, damage and/or weight discrepancies. A process is in place to deal with damaged bags.
Storage and stacking is undertaken in terms of International best practices.
Product is only released from a Warehouse upon receipt of a Loading Instruction issued by the customer and, unless otherwise instructed by our customers, is despatched in terms of the FIFO principal.
Our service includes traceability information of each individual item received into our warehouses.
Stock records are updated immediately product is received into and dispatched from Warehouses and stock counts are undertaken on a weekly basis and the relevant information supplied to the customer.
Our employees are highly trained and skilled in the handling and storage of dangerous goods and hazardous material.
