The AWL Explosives Magazines are located in the Kitwe area, approved by the Zambian Mines Safety Department and licenced by them for the storage of Class 1 Packaged Explosives and Initiating Systems.

Only companies who are authorised by the Zambian Mines Safety Department to possess explosives are permitted to use our magazines for the storage of their product.

A 24/7 Security Service is provided and strict access control to the Magazine Site is rigorously employed.

Magazine operations are strictly in accordance with Explosives Legislation and the Zambian Mines Safety Department operating procedures.

All Magazines are protected by earth mounds.

Magazine stock is reconciled on a daily basis.

Whilst our primary focus is on the receipt, storage, stock management and issue of client owned product to their approved and licenced transporters, we are in a position to undertake deliveries should this be required by clients.
